UNSC Bonaparte Raccoon Tank 22

Dominion Tank Police is one of my fav animes. And in that spirit I present my HALO WARS version of "Bonaparte" The little tank that could.. kick anyone's a**!

I call it the Raccoon since UNSC vehichles tend to be named after earth dwelling animals, and what better name for something so cute and small but sly and ferocious on the inside.

This tank body not including the turret is roughly the size of a 1/24 scale VW Beatle. It holds a crew of two a driver in the base (inserted through a trap door/ escape hatch in the floor) with the gunner practically sitting on his shoulders in the turret above.

The Raccoon boasts a 105mm gun which can fire standard APFSDS rounds (Projectile weapons) or HE rounds (Bomb) for close combat support. It's range is not extensive but it packs one hell of ah punch. Defens systems also include a In the rear turret is a 12,7mm Vulcan minigun that can knock both aircraft and their missiles out of the sky with the smart tracking system that immediately zeros in on any missile that might be locked on to the small tank.

The armor is lighter then the standard UNSC composite found on it's main battle tanks like the Scorpion. Which leaves it vulnerable to small arms fire and heavy artillery alike. However the Raccoon is fast, powered by a twin turbo diesel strait six, with a top speed of 120km an hour (75mph) over even surfaces and deftly maneuverable with quadrupedal independent suspension for it's 4 sets of tracks that make it able to traverse almost any rocky terrain.

True to the nature of the original Bonaparte (which was made from the wreckage of tank commander Britain's behemoth Tiger Special) The Raccoon looks like a patchwork of both UNSC Tank parts and scrap Covenant technology such as the mis matched air intake cover over the left side throttle port.

Originally I had intended to paint over it but maybe I'll leave it the way it is, I like the purple and blue.

If any other alien technology was used the operator isn't sayin ;3
