Real N the Steel General Lee06

oops my bad i guess she was missing the brush guard to. i knew there must have been a reason i didnt get many frontal shots of the grill. damnit i should have anyway ;_;

I was on my way to see my sister in Lubock TX when we past by this used car lot and i spoted the tell tale orange paint and 01 on the doors.

I emdiately flew into a manic frenzy and pestered my parents to turn around and go back cause the lot would be closed on Sunday when we came back that way.

So we pulled in and i got my mom's camera which is now my digital dynamo and took every concevable shot from every angle i could think of of the car i had since childhood had idolized.

It never occured to me sadly to have the owner open the door so i could get the interior but i did get them to pop the hood ;3

It was a strange feeling due to my manic state wanting to take more pictures of it but i just couldnt think of any more shots and so sadly i had to leave this beauty behind cause i could never afford it.

But i will always have the memorys of that day and that car imortalized in the form of these digital snap shots that even bare the date. at least i think thats the correct date if mom's camera was set right.

and sadly no she didnt have a Dixie horn. i asked. Thats the one thing besides the keyhole in the trunk lid that she was lacking from the original Lee ;-_-
